Santorini One Day Cruise

Historically related to the mythical Atlantis and a source of inspiration for Jules Verne’s “Twenty thousands leagues under the sea” and “The mysterious island” Santorini is also a dream–island that offers one the most fascinating sunsets in the planet. In the past Santorini did’nt belong to the Cyclades and before the volcanic eruption it used to be a part of a round island (Strogili ).

It’s first habitants were the ancient Greeks who appeared in 3000 BC. After the big eruption in 1613 BC the Finios were driven there by the beauty of the scenery in 1300 BC. Later Dories came with their King Thira, who gave his name to the island.Because of it’s position and beauty it was conquered many times, by the Francs in 1924 who renamed it Santorini and later by the Ottoman Empire. The island was unified with Greece in 1830.

Famous for it’s sunset in Caldera .Visitors gather there to admire the sunset .Oia is the first settlement of Greece which became tenable not only for it’s houses but also for it’s style and beauty.

Necessary details for reservations: Name and surname – number of the participating pax (adults/children/infants) - voucher nr. – language preference for the land excursion – Transfer or No Transfer.
Cancellations: latest 11.00 a.m. on the day prior to the trip, the office should be informed. Only after confirmation by Seajets, the cancellation will be valid. For any later cancellation, the reservation will be charged normally.
Clients have to bring a mask to the boat and bus.

Day Program

First stop - Oia: Depending on traffic and tour-schedule they will stay approx. 2 hrs
Second stop - Fyra: 2 hours stay
Extra optional afternoon choice: volcano tour (starts later in the season) = will be extra charge.

For check-in at the port: Needed: the voucher and an identification document (ID/passport), also for children. At the Seajets kiosk the clients receive: a ferry ticket, a card with busnr for Santorini and a brochure.
